I am by no means all for breaking the law? But I have to put a hands up when it comes to the defense of innocent animals that have no way of defending themselves!!!!!
Read this book! I have read this painstakingly researched book, and it is excellent. Keith is an engaging storyteller with a delightful sense of humour and irony. While the book is long (and I loved every page of it), it’s broken down into easily digestible, bite-sized chapters. I’m not ashamed to admit that Keith’s eloquence, and the courage displayed by the ALF members he writes of, had, at times, tears streaming down my cheeks. The revelation of the collusion between animal abusers and those supposedly charged with upholding the law is also eye-opening. The ALF often has to fight not just those who cruelly exploit animals, but also the legal system itself. The book contains many photos you may have not seen before. This text will inspire you to action, and while you might not take the underground route, your advocacy for animals will be much the better because of it.
