Complete List of A.L.F. Fur Farm Raids
A list of every known U.S. Animal Liberation Front fur farm raid
This took some work to compile, but here it is: a list of every reported fur farm raid in the United States. From the first (incomplete) report of a fur farm raid in 1986, to the most recent: 400 mink liberated from a fur farm outside Seattle. Most of these were claimed by the Animal Liberation Front, while many were not.
This info was compiled from two sources: A.L.F. Complete Diary of Actions book, and Bite Back.
The final tally:
88 fur farm raids
Just under 130,000 animals freed
If you notice any omissions or errors, please contact me. I want this list to be as thorough as possible.

The section on the Mexican ALF is worth a read. It makes one think that we need a centralized liberatory organization that aboveground activists could support. No doubt funding sources would need to be based somewhere where the U.S. government could not interfere.
thank you for the brave work you do!!!!
It’s a double edged sword. No animals should be raised for fur, but are these animals capable of looking after themselves once they’ve been set free? Also mink is one of the few animals that kills just about anything it can purely for pleasure; it does a tremendous amount of damage to local wildlife.
Organising a special sanctuary for these poor animals would, perhaps, be a better option….
Pami,
The ALF usually has a place for the animals to go.
No they don’t- minks were released into the wild in Utah. This is not caring for animals at all.
Where does ALF have a place for 4000 animals to go it takes a small army to take care o them every day and in one night they seem to find a place and take care of them. If thats the case I am for it but when they let one out here in Utah i saw pictures of mink fried on electrical fences and they came in my yard and crawled into an electrical box and got electricuted. If a place to go means to an electrifying death then sure your right.
I think the people of a.l.f and peta need to get a life and quit wrecking the livlihoods of others. you let all these animals go I bet over half are dead in a few weeks either run over or malnurished. Fu** you all
To those who say the mink will die in the wild is kind of stupid.
1. They will die for a FACT if they stayed at the farm.
2. If they were hungry enough, they’d return to the place where they were fed.
3. I haven’t seen any evidence that the mink died after release. Present it, don’t just assume it.
No matter what, the mink have a better chance in the wild than at a fur farm.
Good going ALF!
My God, how do those heartless retards look at themselves in the mirror. Oh, I know! they’re not people; they’re monsters.
Very well stated, Margo. Thank you.
Thank you for the Outstanding ing sacrifice, risks taken to save innocent animals
