Police Raid “Homeless” Camp, Suspect Link to Restaurant Vandalism

Men found living under freeway in Orange County may be linked to meat restaurant vandalism, police say.

Police raided a “homeless camp” under the 405 freeway Thursday, which they say was adorned with animal rights materials and graffiti. Among the items found, according to reports, were “Animal Liberation Front posters”, including one with the phrase “Even vegans want to slaughter pigs”, an apparent reference to police.

Police believe the men may be connected to unspecified vandalism at a restaurant called Meat House on 17th Street in Costa Mesa. This connection is said to be “under investigation”.
